This is a quiet residential beach neighborhood. Our neighbors are friendly and it's common to see people walking and biking around the area. Street noise is minimal. The home is single level throughout. Parking is available in the driveway. If you're bringing a boat or trailer, reach out prior to booking for information on where you can park these. The nearest grocery stores (Publix & Aldi) are a short drive away (Less than 5 min). There's also a convenience store within walking distance for quick items, beer and wine. Nokomis Beach is one of the best spots on the Gulf Coast for finding shark teeth and seashells. Kids and adults alike will love it. Poco Tortuga sits just two blocks from Nokomis Beach, a quiet, uncrowded stretch of Florida's Gulf Coast. This beautiful local beach is at the southern end of Casey Key, which is located just south of Sarasota and Siesta Key. Walk to waterfront restaurants, bars, a pizza place, ice cream, a convenience store, and a local beach shop without ever touching your car keys. The beach is one of the best spots on the Gulf for shark tooth hunting and sea shell collecting. The neighborhood has that old Florida charm with no high rises, no crazy crowds, just a laid back beach town where flip flops are all you need and everything is right around the corner.

Everything you need is within walking distance. The beach, restaurants, bars, shops, and a convenience store are all a few blocks away. For anything further out like Sarasota or Venice, you'll want a car, but most guests find that once they park, they don't need to drive again until they leave.
